This Privacy Policy describes the terms under which Idioma Internacional (“the Company”) manages and protects the information provided by users. The Company is committed to the security and proper handling of personal data. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.

Definition of Personal Data Processing

Personal data processing refers to any operation or sets of operations carried out with personal data through automated or manual procedures, including the collection, recording, organization, storage, modification, extraction, consultation, use, transmission, dissemination, comparison, interconnection, blocking, assignment, rectification, deletion, anonymization, or destruction.

Information Collected

Personal information may be collected through the website and electronic forms, including name, contact information, email address, and demographic information. Specific information may be requested to process an order or complete a delivery or billing. All requested information is mandatory, and, if not provided, the Company may be unable to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. The user assumes responsibility and guarantees the truthfulness, accuracy, and timeliness of the data provided.

Use of Collected Information

Personal information is used for the following purposes: (i) maintaining a user record, (ii) including users in the Company’s database for employment opportunities, (iii) informing users about job openings and connecting candidate profiles with companies requiring similar qualifications, (iv) offering scholarships for English learning, (v) sending service offers, promotions, events of interest, trainings, and general communications, (vi) improving products and services, (vii) conducting market analysis, product development, commercial initiatives, promotional initiatives, and data updates.  

Information may also be used for statistical purposes. Periodic emails may be sent with offers, new products, or advertising information. These communications may be canceled at any time.  

Image and Audiovisual Data

For BELT oral production tests conducted through video platforms, the Company may collect, process, store, and share image and audiovisual data, including video recordings, audio recordings, screenshots, and any visual or voice information captured during the test process. These data will be processed exclusively for:

  • Verification of identity, authenticity, and integrity of the test.
  • Evaluation, scoring, and quality assurance.
  • Internal training and process improvement, including development of methodologies, platforms, and security protocols.

The Company will not use images, voices, or recordings for promotional, commercial, or public purposes without prior and explicit consent from the data subject or their legal representative.

Storage and Retention

Video recordings and audiovisual data may be stored for operational, quality assurance, and verification purposes. These records will be retained only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described or to meet legal or audit requirements. Once the retention period expires, the data will be securely deleted. All of this is in accordance with Article 11 of Executive Decree No. 37554-JP.

Third‑Party Platforms and Providers

The video platforms used for the tests may involve external providers that process audiovisual data on behalf of the Company under confidentiality and data protection agreements. The Company assumes no responsibility for the illicit, inappropriate, or unlawful use of the information contained in such platforms in violation of these agreements, nor for the actions of third parties outside their scope.

Consent for Audiovisual Processing

Participation in the BELT oral production test constitutes express consent for the collection, processing, storage, and sharing of image, voice, and audiovisual data as described in this policy, pursuant to the provisions outlined in Article 5 of Law No. 8968.

Control of Personal Information

Individuals may restrict the collection or use of their personal information. When completing forms, users may choose to accept or decline the receipt of email communications. Users may exercise their rights to access, rectify, delete, or authorize the transfer of their personal data. Requests may be sent to info@idiomacr.com.

The Company will not sell, transfer, or distribute collected personal information without consent, except when required by judicial or administrative authorities. If necessary for negotiation or formalization of processes such as mergers, acquisitions, financing, or assignments, the Company may exchange personal information, providing only what is strictly necessary, and ensuring appropriate legal safeguards.

The Company may transfer personal information to companies that offer job opportunities aligned with user profiles and is not responsible for the misuse of information once transferred.

Processing of Personal Data

Personal data of individuals aged 15 or older may be processed with appropriate consent as indicated in this policy. Data related to individuals under 15 years of age will be deleted immediately.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and similar technologies allow for recognition of preferences, tracking transactions, and the efficient functioning of the website. Browser settings may be adjusted to accept or reject cookies, although some website functions may not operate correctly without them.
